BENTLEY SPRING DRIVE.

We are contemplating standardising the spring drive shewn on LeC's.4639 and 4946 modified to drawing Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}131.

The object of making this change would be almost entirely one of reducing cost, the three expensive items in the present design being simpler to manufacture. Will you therefore please send us figures of the reduction in cost you expect if this scheme is adopted on both the Bentley and 25/30 HP.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/H.Grylls.
