slipping occurred.
We found this could be reproduced on the test rig by applying an extra load on the brake, the slipping occurring as stated previously.
The clutch spring D.51611 giving a poundage of 184 lbs. at .650" deflection was used in sch.2. giving a total torque load of 552.5 lbs.ins., therefore a lighter clutch spring cannot be used to overcome the trouble. This is more clearly shewn in our report on the multiple clutch.
