These are people we believe we have not contacted so far.

We appreciate that the customers are the Admiralty, and they it is we have to satisfy, whilst the British Power Boat Co. are the users and can influence the future of the gun.

ADMIRALTY.
At present the project receives top cover at D.N.O from Captain Slattery and to a lesser extent Captain Agnew. The directing influence is I believe at D.N.O Ordnance Material and Captains Robinson and Uniacke, the latter being the expert on mounting design. We have been in contact with some of these, but not all of the directing people.

BRITISH POWER.
As suppliers to Scott-Paine, it would be difficult for us to review end over end this project. It would be far better to put the matter to Scott-Paine and how best to proceed, without prejudice to our future.

HOLMAN.
Have supplied some tool room facility, and have been invited to quote for more work. Trevaskis and Holman sr. technically are first class, but always seem to be at sixes and sevens on the production side.

NASH & THOMPSON.
We are shortly meeting them at Tolworth. That, we believe, is Grp.Capt. Goddard and possibly Mr. Whittaker.

ROSE BROS.
Mr. C.T. Such, has been over the section, and is to report what he could do towards relieving our present difficult position.

BRISTOL.
Fedden is aware of what is proposed with the new British mark II gun, and we have his full co-operation so far as the supply of his engines and components is concerned.

BOULTON PAUL.
Mr. North is head of gun mounting section. He would probably be a useful contact if we felt inclined to use his design experience, as he has the right approach.
