we should have front springs at least 50 lbs. stronger than present ones.

Another trouble we experienced was the continual unscrewing of the air valve and also the top of the float chamber. With regard to the latter point, I notice on the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I car B.H.I. have got out there is a special fixing over the top of the float chamber to prevent it coming unscrewed but I do not know whether you have had previous complaints of the air valve becoming loose.

We have also got the old trouble on 64-EF of some of the rollers in the tappets making a noise but I gather that the future cars have been modified.

We find that however tight the front wheels were on the hubs, they had a tendency to start squeaking after a long run but since returning to Delhi we notice there is a modification for this; so presumably this trouble has been cleared up.

We were constantly troubled by the front springs squeaking although on several occasions we took off the gaiters and put oil between the leaves of the springs but within a comparatively few miles they were squeaking again.

All the above points are only given you in case they should be of interest as I naturally wish you to know what sort of trouble we are experiencing but I do lay very great stress on the question of steering and on the question of balloon tyres and I should like to hear from you if anything can be done about these.
