New petrol connection designed by Messrs. Benton & Stone Ltd to prevent pipe breakage on rubber-mounted engines.

X2677. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to RG{Mr Rowledge} c. to E c. to BY -------------------- Messrs. Benton & Stone Ltd, in conjunction with Messrs. Roberts, of Witton, have recently placed on the market a Petrol Connection for use on Chassis fitted with Rubber mounted engines, to obviate the broken petrol pipes which have been so frequent of late when such engines were fitted with the ordinary copper pipe only - the average chassis manufacturer not being prepared to fit the expensive Petroflex. Sample of such Connection herewith to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} - also small piece of the flexible connection they are embodying in same. A larger petrol way can be embodied if necessary.
