23rd July, 1937.

Hon. W.G. Bethell,
c/o Messrs. E.B. Savoury & Co.,
Basildon House,
Moorgate, E.C.2.

Dear Bethell,

I am very glad to hear that you are thinking of getting a Phantom III.

I am sure you will agree with me that there is no comparison between this chassis and the 25/30.

If you are in a hurry to make the change, I do not see any reason why you should not do so forthwith. If, on the other hand, now that the Summer is nearly over, you want your Phantom III for next Spring, then I recommend that you do not put your order in until you actually want the car.

As you know, we are always making detail changes in all our chassis, though major changes are few and far between.

If you buy one now, there will be absolutely no difference in the chassis whether you buy one which is already complete, or take the chassis and have a body built for it.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
