Coverley - Production Engineer} (1 print) ------------------- X4264. Re."GOSHAWK II" STEERING COLUMN ------------------------------- Please receive herewith3prints of N. Scheme 902 shewing the upper portion of the steering column, N. scheme 903 shewing the steering column gear box and method of mounting in the frame, and N. Scheme 905 shewing the swaged worm tube for the steering column. With reference to the last scheme, it is believed that the swaged tube is a practical job, but we wish you to give your opinion on this matter. With reference to N. scheme 903 it will be noticed that this is required on the crankcase;also it will be noticed that the bonnet is shewn in a different position from the schemes we have previously made; this is due to the alteration to the radiator, which has taken place recently; and N. scheme 903 may be taken as correct.
