2ND. LEFT-HAND CHASSIS -
INSTRUMENT BOARD.

With reference to your Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/H.4.7.30., the instrument board on 25-EX. has already been made and fitted up to D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Sch.416.

This scheme was drawn up to the latest requirements of Cy. and R.R.A.I., the original drawing was sent to W.W. for approval. Several points were criticised in 3al/H2.6.30., these various items were modified accordingly and the revised scheme again sent to W.W.

Owing to the fact that the scheme was developed from the latest requirements of Cy. and U.S.A. it has been fitted up on the second car.

We suggest the lay-out should be examined on the car by W.W. and London before it is definitely decided to revert to D.Sch.310G, the parts for which are not at present instructed.

Incidentally, we prefer this layout (D.Sch.416) to anything we have previously seen.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL.
