-2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.3/MH.{M. Huckerby}11.10.38. (b) Complete the noise and hence heat insulation of the dashboard thoroughly as on standard Bentley cars. (c) If possible employ a sub-carpet of some heat insulating material under the present carpet. (d) Fit side scuttle ventilators in addition to present top ventilator (opening forward as scoops for fresh air). We shall be interested to hear the result of any or all of these modifications if you decide to carry them out. Incidentally we discovered that the thermostat unit had failed and the water temperature was consequently too low - we have fitted a new unit to the engine.
