Re: Chassis No. 14.B.V - Engine No. BIII Unit No.7.

Supplementing the several telephone conversations you have had with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, we beg to inform you that the following are the arrangements we have made for the temporary importation into France of the above Bentley chassis.

It will be delivered by our lorry tomorrow to Newhaven, and will be shipped on the passenger boat sailing at 10.15 p.m. which is due in Dieppe at 2.5 a.m. on Friday morning.

The General Transport Co.Ltd., have been requested to prepay the freight, and arrange the temporary importation at Dieppe.

As you are arranging to collect the chassis from the Port, we believe it will be necessary for the General Transport Co.Ltd., to send a representative from Paris, in order to complete the formalities.

We attach two copies of the Pro Forma Invoice which we have issued for Customs purposes only.

When the complete car is ready to be returned to England please give us a few days notice and also obtain an Invoice in quadruplicate for the body itself. On this value we shall have to pay British Import Duty on importation into England.

DJG.
