ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To E.F.C. Order No. AC.63. Customer's No. X 4333 2. Nov. 1925 Dynamo F.{Mr Friese} from 6 GII. (X re brushes) This machine, fitted with X main and EG 3399 control brushes was sent from the Repair dept. to Mr Brock for overhaul. Mr Brock reports that the solder was thrown from the commutator. This is the first case known of this happening on a car fitted with the cartridge field fuse. The brushes have been obtained from Mr Brock; they are in good condition, all being fairly well polished. The mileage run by this machine is 11780, brush wear being:- Positive .043", Negative .040" Control .0575" Signed JGA This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
