To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. c. to Rl. X2048 EFC4/AT22.1.18. RE CHARGING DYNAMO. With further reference to your enquiries we find we can run the Bijur Dynamo set up to about 14 volts but no more; that is to say we find it is quite capable of being set up to run on a 12 volt battery system. In your note R9/W15118 you mention the figure 18 volts, but as you say you require this dynamo for the purpose of charging the cells of 7CA, which we believe is 12 volt system, we think, perhaps, this Bijur Dynamo will suit. It is certainly quite capable of charging continuously and satisfactorily a 12 volt battery and if you would like this dynamo for the purpose we will send it to you adjusted for this work. EFC. | ||
