SS.{S. Smith} VALVE SPRINGS
X 290
We send you herewith blueprint of LeC. 2697. shewing the present SS.{S. Smith} parallel spring E.78071. made taper.
The average periodicity and figures of merit are as before.
There is a difficulty of nearly 2000 vibrations per minute between the natural frequencies of the top and bottom ends of the spring.
LeC. 2697. should be tested against E.78071. on the spring test rig.
The original drawing is attached to Ey's copy.
