Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited,
D E R B Y.

For the attention of Mr. West.

Dear Sirs,

We have now received the battery type 6-HZD9-S advised in your letter of the 6th instant, ref. ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/JT9/LW, and this is being examined to ascertain the cause of the failure and we will let you have a report in due course.

Will you please be good enough to let us know if this is the battery which you reported some time ago as only giving 35 ampere hours at the 20 hour rate instead of its rated capacity of 54 ampere hours at the 20 hour rate?

We hope to be able to let you have our report within the course of the next few days, and trust that you will pass on this information to the reference previously mentioned.

Yours faithfully,

PETO & RADFORD.
E.S. Chapman
