Light spring diagrams with Messrs. Cussons and seeking guidance on continuing the project.

It appeared, however, that they had not concentrated very much on light spring diagrams and they were not able to show me what I would have liked to have seen in this direction. However, they promised to do something in this way and see if they could send us a satisfactory light spring diagram later on.
I left it with Messrs. Cussons that they would send us the necessary prints and particulars to enable us to develop a scheme for fixing this instrument up to one of our aero engines, also that the gentleman who showed me the indicator would probably pay us a visit in order to see for himself how best to arrange this fixing; this visit to take place before anything much was done towards getting out a scheme. Later on, he might bring an indicator down and assist us in obtaining some diagrams.
We are putting the facts of the case before you so that you may give us any instructions concerning the continuation of this job, that is to say, whether you think it would be advantageous to carry it any further.
We shall be glad to hear from you if you would care for any further details.
