X4226 PN{Mr Northey}5/DN23.5.25. TO Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM PN{Mr Northey} c. to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} I was under the impression that all valves made by us at the present time, were of the new steel alloy (name forgotten), which we have found to be proof against burning. I wanted to fit a set of these to Mr. Hutton's 20 HP, as he has had some trouble, but am told by Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} that he is not aware of the existence of this alloy for the new 20 HP valves. Will you please let me know by return whether you can supply a set for this special case? We are anxious to do this for Mr. Hutton if possible. PN{Mr Northey} [signature] | ||
