GOSHAWK II. VACUUM FEED.

HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}2-1/1.1.22.

[STAMP TEXT: RECEIVED 1922]

Roy{Sir Henry Royce} obtained a sample Vacuum tank, made by Mr Weyman of Paris. I sent the tank in question into the Experimental Department in order that they might give the matter consideration, as it appeared to me to be well carried out from a detail point of view.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, submitted the tank to R, and we are now instructed to order three of the Vacuum units only from Mr Weyman.

We do not require the tanks, as we propose making the tanks themselves at Derby, with a rather larger capacity than is generally considered necessary for an Autovac system.
