B. 3. FRONT BRAKES.

In vestigating the 14" brake drums it appears that we can gain some advantages in the brake operating gear, and we have made N. sch. 3576, (herewith), shewing the sugge sted modifications to the brake levers which appear to be worth doing.

It will be noticed that we are able to eliminate the distortion of the front axle section which was formerly needed to clear the brake rod.

In a few days we shall be sending you information as to any modification to the cross steering lever needed by these drums.
