We are despatching to you today one high pressure petrol pump and bracket for Monsieur Emberico's Streamline Bentley.

The pump is to be fitted to the offside of the Battery box with the top of the bracket mid way up the box.

The attached drawing LEC.4670 shows a standard low pressure pump in this position. To accomodate the high pressure pump the bracket has been lowered 1". This scheme also shows a filter but this should be disregarded and the pump connected to the existing filter, incidentally the delivery of the pump will point to the rear of the car.

If with the bracket supplied (which is not drilled for fixing) the side of the battery box is too springy we suggest you tie up with a plate under the pump mounting as shown on the drawing to the corners of the box.

Will you also ensure that the bracket is clear of the brake rope on maximum bump, and the air bottles are not fouling the floor. This pump is fitted with Neoprene sleeves to exclude water and dirt and the vent hole in these sleeves should be at the bottom.

We are also supplying two carburetter needle and seats .10" diam. to prevent the possibility of flooding.
