Your memorandum R2/M 5/12/26 was considered by the Sales Conference, and the Coachbuilding Committee will very carefully consider the possibility of reducing the size and weight of the 20 HP bodies.

We have great hopes that the Barkerlite body will overcome the difficulty in the future.

We hope to have an opportunity of testing these during the next few months and coming to some definite conclusion.

A list of accessories which we recommend is sent to customers. I enclose a copy. Is this what you mean?

We do everything possible to prevent customers from having fenders fitted to their cars. We hate the look of them. They spoil an otherwise very beautiful car. Unfortunately a few of our customers insist, especially for use in London.

We are glad to know about the experiments with the back axle ratio and shall be very interested to see the results, also concerning the stiffer crankshaft.

BJ.
