FIXING INSTRUCTIONS Cut a suitable hole in the dashboard, pass cables through and attach to the top of the plugs. Terminals are marked to correspond with the cylinders and with the dial of the instrument and must be connected to the plugs of the corresponding cylinders. The earth cable should be attached to a convenient nut on the engine and should be securely fastened to ensure correct working. Suitable terminals are included for connecting to the plugs. On some cars which have the petrol tank immediately behind and extending the full width of the dashboard, there may be some difficulty in fixing flush. This may be overcome by using a turned wood boss or flange to match other woodwork of the car. This can be supplied at a small extra charge on receipt of particulars.
