WHEEL HUBS. Knowing that Dunlops supply hubs to Rolls-Royce only, we approached Alford & Alder who make hubs for everyone else, and asked for a quotation for the present Bentley hubs and caps. Copy of their quotation is attached to this memo and shows in our material a reduction of £2. 5. 0. per set. As Wraith hubs have been designed so that the same broach also makes the B.III. hub, we should recommend placing the Wraith and B.III. order with Alford & Alder, subject of course to satisfactory samples. In their quotation they mention 1500 to 2000 sets. We have no intention of altering the hubs for this number of cars. Their representative is coming here on Monday next.
