To AJS. from EFC. c. HIC. EFC2/T7.1.27. SEQUENCE STARTER MOTOR. X7625 With reference to your AJS6/M5.1.27, we are, as requested, despatching to you to-day a Phantom starter motor carcase. Re the query contained in your middle para. of AJS7/M5.1.27, we consider the section referred to will be satisfactory. There is no optimum, but we always like to get as large a section as possible. Are you arranging for 17-SWG. or 18-SWG. on the teaser, and how many turns ? At present we have about 30 turns of 17-SWG. Please return carcase as soon as possible. EFC. Further note. Our winder asks if it would not be possible to have the .200 x .200 conductor split into two or three to make the winding job easier. He says that to bend the solid conductor round the field poles would be a very difficult job on production. Would you consider this ? EFC. | ||
