re. PRICE'S OILS.

With reference to your ROY{Sir Henry Royce}9/MG30.11.23, dated Dec. 3rd. we are not satisfied with Price's Motorine oil we are now using for the engines, but we do not know of anything better we can recommend at present, and the question of oil is now receiving the attention of Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and the Experimental Dept.

My recommendations are that you should go slowly as regards contracts for oils and only keep going from hand to mouth until such time as Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is able to recommend another oil, with which we can arrange for similar service organisation as at present exists with Prices.
