4684 Mr. Mercer. WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}23/T2913. Sept. 2nd. 1913. I am under the impression that Mr. Royce sent us a Memo. some little time ago about the Show Car being fitted with some obsolete parts, and I think you are dealing with this matter. 2 or 3 parts I remember aluminium plates were fitted instead of rubber buffers, and rear shock absorbers were fitted which, of course, should be taken off. Probably there are many other parts which ought to be brought up to standard, and I shall be glad of your suggestions how to get over this difficulty. To my mind we should prepare certain parts that we think should be fitted to this car, and then send a man to take off certain specified parts and to fit new parts, which we would send with him. Shall be glad of your suggestions. R.R.LTD.(M) OCD. 18.1.18. E.P. 5000. | ||
