Myth Engine M.40.

Sec.5050 - Cylinder Head
Sec.8070 - Dynamo
Sec.8120 - Distributor
Sec.8000,8010,8020,8030,8040 - Starter Motor.

The following are our observations on the above sections :-

Sec.8070 - Dynamo.

RD.2408 shows the Lucas Dynamo L.1 type together with Pulley RD.1910. The distance between the mounting lugs has been decreased from 6.53125 ±.010 to 5.475 ±.010.

Sec.8120 - Distributor.

The drawing of the Distributor RD.1984 shows the Lucas Suction - Micrometer spark advance distributor type 634 Model DK.4.A-O.{Mr Oldham}, having a standard bracket with the locating hole on the centre line and a standard lever which has the clamping bolt boss rolled under instead of over. Note the .718 radius at centre of lever.

Sections 8000, 8010, 8020, 8030, 8040 - Starter Motor.

RD.1922 shows the standard Lucas Starter Type M.418.G to Lucas Drawing 255378, which is to have the Starter Switch removed and Lucas cover plate D.S.T.10. fitted in its place.

We would be pleased if Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RO.{C. C. Rose - Export Manager} would bring us back a drawing of this cover so that we can modify our drawing.

We send blueprints of the following :-

RD.1910 Dynamo Pulley 1 Off
RD.1922 Starter Lucas Type M.418.G. 1 "
RD.1984 Distributor - 634 - DK.4.A-O.{Mr Oldham} 1 "
RE.1985 Distributor Housing 1 "
RD.2408 Dynamo 1 "

Kindly instruct as required.
