1 hours endurance at 4500 R.P.M.

At the end of each hours endurance A.3 and 4 and
B.3 and 4 tappets, were retained, and replaced by new tappets.
Cast iron tappets fitted to Nos. 3 and 4 blocks
remaining standard tappets in A side. - A.1 in A.2 and A.2 in A.1.
B. side as run throughout tests.
Condition of tappets after 3 hours running and further
1 hour at 4000
B.7,8,3,4. Good surface, groove hardly perceptible.
A.3,4,7,8. Good surface, groove .050" wide.
