Messrs. C.C. Wakefield suggest for their "Gearease" should we standardise its use on our products, a figure of, 5/- per Gallon. 6d per lb. (In barrels)

compared with the figure put forward by Messrs. Price for the lubricant they claim is suitable for such purpose (improved samples of which have been on test in the Experimental Department and Laboratory for some time)........ 1/6 per Gallon Approx 2d. per lb.

You will note the marked difference in the prices of the two lubricants, and I would suggest, should you circularise a Standardisation Sheet, this be mentioned.

The Whitmore Compound, i.e. an American product we are using at present, costs 10/- per Gallon. 1/- per lb.
