re. 59-PK.

With reference to your PN{Mr Northey}16/D30.9.24, I am afraid I cannot make any definite promise for re-delivery of this car to London or say exactly what else will be done aprt from fitting 14 tooth axle to improve the performance and improve the booming fault.
The whole matter is having our very careful attention and investigation and as soon as we are in a position to write you anything definite on the matter, we will do so.

I quite realise the urgency of the job, but as a plain matter of fact do not at present know what can be done to overcome the trouble or even improve it.

P.S. We have now instructions to change front axle & front springs.
Will keep you "au fait" with progress. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}
