Messrs K.L.G. Sparking Plugs Ltd.,
Robinhood Engineering Works,
Putney Vale,
London. S.W.15.

For the attention of Major Carrington.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 25th of May, the two model K.L.G. plugs have now come to hand, and we have examined them.

We think that the short reach plug is quite satisfactory in barrel length. The long reach plug, however, LKS.5, may be slightly on the short side. The design of our cylinder heads, however, are not fixed, and therefore, it is no use us specifying the plug sizes when we are not certain what we want.

There is no doubt that the LKS.6 is quite satisfactory for our preliminary tests, in both reach and barrel length, and we should therefore be obliged if you would let us have one dozen Long Reach for experimental work.

The one doz. long reach, LKS.5, previously supplied are so short in the barrel that they are not much good to us, and we shall therefore return them to you as soon as we receive the improved LKS.6 as per model.

Yours faithfully
