PERMANENT JACKS. DONALD SESSIONS & COMPANY LTD. 906. HARROW ROAD, WILLESDEN. LONDON. N.W.10 TELEPHONE WILLESDEN 1270 TELEGRAMS "TOGGLE, HARLES" CABLEGRAMS "TOGGLE, LONDON" Handwritten: X1166 J.C.Bowering, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Handwritten: Bung 2nd March, 1936 Handwritten: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Handwritten: File Dear Mr. Bowering, Following on our 'phone conversation in connection with the mounting of the hand pump in relation to the trap door, you will recollect I thought it possible to use a special pressing for the purpose of providing a neater installment at this point, but on examining your prints which I had not seen until I returned to London, I find that my suggestion will not in the circumstances be practical and would therefore suggest the scheme as shown on your prints Nos. L.E.C.5012 and L.E.C.5005 should be adhered to. I should like to have your comments in due course in connection with the increased efficiency we have obtained by using a modified form of oil induction incorporated in the pump plunger. I think there is no doubt that this is a considerable improvement. Will you please be good enough to send me a duplicate set of prints covering the reservoir oil tank - general arrangement and details. Yours faithfully, Laudaw Sessions Director DWS/IKS | ||
