Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. CJ c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. EFC. X 3513 R7/G14.4.21. X.4287 - RE STABALITE (BELDALITE) MOULDING OF SWITCH BARREL. X.3513. X.2494. With reference to the stabalite moulding as carried out at our Derby Works on the little switch barrel, I hope Mr. Wormald will arrange to have this process introduced at once. It would seem to me that it should save time, and money, and inconvenience in sending parts away. One feels sure that this class of moulding will be useful, as well as the bakelite (or condensite) which has the great advantage of giving a highly finished article direct from the moulds, which appear to need hardening and highly polishing to give a very high finish.
