DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (5832) Hal/LG23.6.28. SUBFRAME FOR INDIA 3. X5380 We have despatched the subframe for India 3. to Lillie Hall. today. From the report of the Sales Conference it would appear that this subframe is going to lie at Lillie Hall as no decision has yet been come to as to which body it is going to be used for. We consider this is very foolish, and that we ought to know whether other arrangements were made so that the subframe is not so vitally urgent. To produce the subframe in the time allowed has meant that all other sheetmetal work has been stopped, excessive overtime has been worked and several other urgent jobs have stopped altogether.
