Rear Axle - Sec. 6120. 1015 Please receive herewith blueprints of the following drawings :- RG.{Mr Rowledge}2273 Bearing washer. 1 off per set. RG.{Mr Rowledge}2274 Bevel Pinion. 1 " " " RG.{Mr Rowledge}2275 Driving Flange. 1 " " " RG.{Mr Rowledge}2276 Scheme showing Pinion Assembly. The above drawings have been produced to enable Peregrine gears to be fitted in a Bentley V.{VIENNA} axle. As will be seen from RG.{Mr Rowledge}2276, the modifications comprise of the following :- (1) Pinion Ex.9366 modified to make RG.{Mr Rowledge}2274, by removing the threaded shank and machining to accommodate Sleeve Exs.1548. (2) The addition of a Washer - RG.{Mr Rowledge}2273, behind the Pinion bearing to facilitate nipping the Inner Race. (3) A new Driving Flange RG.{Mr Rowledge}2275 being Exs.1544, but having a taper to suit the Pinion - RG.{Mr Rowledge}2274. (4) The Propellor Shaft Exs.1549, is required for use with the above, being .775 longer. This completes the instructions for the above. Kindly instruct us as required.
