40/50 Controllable Dampers.

We have experienced trouble with loss of load
on our new 10,000 mile car, 28-EX. This was due to
scale and dirt working through the pipe lines and causing
the bellows guide to stick in the alum. end cover.

As 28-EX damper system is practically all
production parts, we see no reason why chassis are not
being turned out with the same trouble.

Will you please arrange for the pipe lines to
be cleaned and the bellows guide clearance increased by
reducing the bellows guide spindle from .312 diam. to
.300 diam.

The guide for the bellows seems unnecessary,
so we are going to test some bellows without guides.
