Request for a replacement float for an S.1. hydrometer that became jammed.

| X3741 To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. EFC4/T30.1.28. FLOAT FOR HYDROMETER. QXNXXIII. We should be pleased if you would obtain a replacement float for the S.1. hydrometer herewith. This was not broken by careless handling, but because the top of the float jammed in the top neck of the hydrometer barrell and had to be pushed down to release it. In the circumstances we think the Exide Co. would probably be good enough to replace this free of charge and particularly as I am obtaining this for another department, and we would like to avoid the complication of cross charging.
