A.{Mr Adams} Robotham Esq., Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Dear Mr. Robotham, Thanks for your letter dated the 4th instant with regard to the tests of stabilising equipment, which are now to be left over until Mr. Cupper visits England early in January. Reverting to the writer's visit to Derby some little time ago and the question of the Rolls servo equipment, we find we have had some little difficulty in arranging for the transverse drive from the gearbox mainshaft; will you please be good enough to submit a drawing indicating the means you have adopted for this drive on the standard Rolls gearbox, as we would very much like to see the form of gear used on the shaft for this purpose. Yours faithfully, p.p. LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED. M Pilkington Manager, Engineering Dept. | ||
