De/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 6117 DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/G.4.3.39. BENTLEY 5. DASHBOARD. Please receive herewith the following scheme :- F.CD.1236 Wiring on Dashboard - Engine Side. In accordance with memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}1/JH.21.2.39. we have produced the above scheme shewing the wiring on the dashboard on the engine side. We have also revised the direction of the flute indentations in order that they may bulge outwards and thus not interfere with the Seapak fitting. It will be noticed we have shown the flexible conduiting for protecting the cables. If, however, they are inclined to rattle or look unsightly we can easily replace them by simple channel section conduits. Please instruct experimentally. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} wishes us to produce a bench mock-up of this dash layout for appearance purposes. We hope in the course of a few days to complete a Seapak scheme to be used in conjunction with this scheme to assist Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} in producing the mock-up.
