X4552 To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}24/KW.21.3.35. Tyre Pressure Gauges. Replying to Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/GEA.7/VR.{E. S. Voller - Orders}21.3.35, we do not like this tyre gauge as it is unnecessarily cumbersome. We have no tyre on any of our cars at present which it is required to inflate above 40 lbs/sq.in., and we suggest therefore that you get into touch with the manufacturers and tell them to make a gauge which reads up to this figure only, and also to try and make it more compact. At present it is unnecessarily bulky and heavy. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
