1245. British Embassy, Madrid. 14th February 1944. Dear Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, As you will have seen my telegram - at least I hope so - it is hardly necessary for me to tell you that the powers that be have granted me a few days' leave so that I can attend the meeting in question. Unless something unforeseen happens (which is always possible nowadays!) I expect to be in London on Saturday evening March 4th, and as I shall have very little time I think it would be a good idea if you were to telegraph to me telling me where I can get in touch with you when I arrive. Simply address your telegram to: W. Sleator, British Embassy, Madrid. I am looking forward to my visit with the greatest interest, and thank you for all the trouble you have taken to keep me informed. Yours ever, S.R | ||
