BY/NHW. from EFC. V8782 (handwritten) EFC2/T6.4.29. X664 (handwritten) RE INSTRUCTION BOOK. Section entitled "Charging in Garage from External Source" We recommend that the last paragraph be Deleted and replace with paras. as follows :- Procedure (handwritten) "Where the conditions of running are such that a moderate demand is made on the battery, and when suitable direct current supply is available, we recommend that it be made a rule to [struck through] leave the battery on charge at 'trickle' rate (about 1/4 ampere) when the car is in the garage, as such a procedure will [struck through] assist in keeping the battery in thorough condition. [Handwritten edit above 'we recommend that it be made a rule to': it is good] [Handwritten edit above 'will': will] "In cases where the demand on the battery is relatively small, and ample charging proceeds whilst running, then charging in the garage is unnecessary."
