x351 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}3/KW. 5th December,1935. The Power Flexible Tubing Co.Ltd., Derby Works, Finsbury Park, London, N.4. Dear Sirs, We are sending to you under separate cover a portion of one of your petrol flexes which was fitted to one of our experimental Cars. This you will see has fractured near the end, and we shall be pleased to have your comments on this and to know whether you consider the failure is due to fatigue. In order to keep the car running the pipe was wired and soldered, hence the solder on the tube. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
