1285 Wks Ru / 582 S/W. {Sales / Derby Works} Anti-freezing. Cx {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} 1/KW29.10.38. LH {Mr Haworth} are now receiving supplies of anti-freezing mixture for Bentley cars, which is labelled "Distilled Glycerine". In the Instruction Book for the Phantom III it says glycerine must not be used either pure or commercial. Will you please say whether that instruction can be modified in any way so that the distilled glycerine that has been supplied for Bentleys can be used for the Phantom. In the 25/30 book it again says glycerine must not be used. It would be interesting to us to know and to be able to pass on the information when requested by a customer, what makes it possible to use glycerine in the Bentley water cooling system whilst it must not be used in the water cooling of R-R cars.
