Component failures on a Bentley III Bumper Chassis, specifically a fractured side stay and a broken front suspension coil spring.

After completing 19 3/4 hours' running on the above chassis the side stay fitted to the spare wheel carrier has fractured across the .406 diameter hole at the end which is secured to the frame side member. Front Suspension.
