To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to EH. c. to Kstrtn. ORIGINAL. St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Margaret's Bay. 3 28 SEP 1917 Sept. 26th, 1917. RECEIVED X3032 Re - Impregnating Aluminium Castings. R8/W26917. With reference to impregnating the aluminium castings with silicate of soda, I should think this would be so very simple that it might be tried on such castings as are only slightly porous. I should not recommend that the definitely bad ones were treated in this way, but scrapped. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
