X6016 TWO-RATE CHARGE SCHEME ON 22-EX. X6004.

The battery on this car has again run down during the week-end to such an extent that the starter motor would not operate.

This is the second time this has happened on this car and it has caused considerable inconvenience.

In view of this and other experience, it appears necessary to modify the scheme on the same lines as was done on 58-GN. If this is not possible, due to lack of material can the resistance be cut out to give the maximum charge under all conditions?.

"Will you please have the necessary modifications carried out.

HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/A.J.Lidsey.
