X.3534. ________________________________________________ Complete drawings will be sent you in the course of a few days, and I hope you will be able to get out windings for each. The motor windings should be on the lines of those at present adopted for the 40/50 H.P. starter motor. The dynamo windings will be grouped three coils per slot, as is usual with finer winding. I suggest the use of a wood or any solid metal model, so that while the proper materials are coming, you can experimentally wind the armatures in various ways, and make the calculations of all the possibilities that the magnetic circuit will permit, because we found such great advantages in trying several plans of winding in the case of the earlier starter motors.
