![]() | This archive comprises of a quarter of a million communications between the Rolls-Royce Experimental Department at Derby, Sir Henry Royce (residing Le Canadel in France for health reasons and his West Wittering office), the sales department at Conduit Street and Rolls-Royce USA. Also included are communications to various suppliers, retailers, coachbuilders and customers. The physical archive resides with the Sir Henry Royce Memorial Foundation at The Hunt House in the UK. The first document dates from 1906 when Charles Rolls won the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy race, covering also the development of Silver Ghost, Phantom I, II, III, right through to the 1960's. Sustain did a phenomenal job transcribing these entire documents to text.
