Dear Mr.Robotham, How are the pumps going? We have recently run across a slight snag which, incidentally, is quite easily overcome, namely, that the two diaphragms we are using, one gut and the other oiled silk, eventually stick together, considerably reducing the resilliancy of the diaphragm. This has the effect of not allowing the spring to bring the armature sufficiently far down to make a perfect make and break. We have only run across this trouble on two pumps so far, but it may develop on yours, and if so, you will know what to look for. If it should occur I should be greatly obliged if you will let me have a report. Kind regards, Yours sincerely, TCSkinner | ||
