RE F.11. & 12a

We understand that the A.I.D. insist that we declare a timing for the above engines.

The timings we have been giving these engines when placing on test is:

INLET OPENING - 8° - After T.D.C. ) Tappet
INLET CLOSING - -38° - After B.D.C. ) clearance
EXHAUST OPENING - -30° - Before B.D.C. ) for timing
EXHAUST CLOSING - 8° - After T.D.C. ) .030.

Running Tappet clearance .020.

Magnetos set fully advanced 35° Before T.D.C.

As far as we know the above timing is considered satisfactory. Would you kindly confirm?
